Dr. Mirit Lotan, a founding partner at CDS-LUTHI Intellectual Property Group, holds a Ph.D. in Biology from The Weizmann Institute of Science. Her journey, spanning over 26 years in intellectual property, includes a decade in the biotech industry where she integrated her expertise as a patent attorney with licensing and business development, eventually leading to a shift in focus to serving a diverse clientele in the field. Mirit’s vast expertise encompasses patent drafting and prosecution, patentability and freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses, and strategic consultation on IP matters across various fields from basic to applied science, including molecular biology, drug development, diagnostics, therapeutic antibodies, and vaccines.
