A Journey Through Generations: 50 Years in the Legal World – Dina Eliasoof
From my days as a young soldier, to my wedding, the birth of my children, and now, my grandchildren—what an incredible journey it’s been! Reflecting on 50 years in the legal profession, each chapter fills me with pride and gratitude.
I started working with the Cohn family as a young woman full of curiosity. The workplace quickly became my second home, with colleagues who truly became family. Here, I’ve learned—and taught—the values of loyalty, honesty, integrity, and the joy of meaningful work.
My story spans four generations—from Dr. Reinhold Cohn to his son, Dr. Michael Cohn, to Dr. Ilan Cohn אילן כהן, and now to Ilan’s children: Lior Cohn a partner in our firm, and Tamar Frank who recently began her internship.
For over 35 years, I’ve had the honor of serving as Dr. Ilan Cohn’s personal assistant—a professional relationship that has blossomed into a deep family connection. Together with Ilan and our talented partners David de Vries דוד דה-פריס and Svetlana Stadler סבטלנה שטדלר, we made the courageous decision to establish Cohn, de Vries, Stadler & Co., (CDS), where I proudly serve as office manager and personal assistant to the entire partnership.
At our growing firm, I continue to champion excellence, integrity, innovation, and dedication—values that have been our cornerstone throughout our careers. We’re more than a team at CDS—we’re family. And our collective spirit has earned us recognition in the patent law world.
I come to work each day with a smile and full energy, proud to be part of something so special. As I look to the future, I’m energized by the continued growth of my CDS family. Some may ask when I plan to retire—but when you’ve found your professional home, why would you ever want to leave?
What values have sustained you throughout your career? How have your professional relationships enriched your life?
